Is it really Thursday already?

I cant believe it's already Thursday I am not sure where the weekend has gone much less the week.. First off we are still alive nothing has attacked us yet.. My husband has baited the beasties under the house and above the house and let's hope for the best...Someone was getting pretty frisky in the attic last nite.. Creepy!!! I was not envisioning little creatures crawling all about my house when I stood in the drive for the first time and imagined my future here haha .. But we will get them out!! I am a very patient woman haha..

We did not get much done this weekend as I must admit I was side tracked by the 91 yardsales in the paper.. I found me some things that there is just no way I could have lived without thou so it all worked out for the best .. I have been obsessed with making bread in my bread machine lately.. and wouldn't you know I seen 3 pretty nice bread machines at yardsales this weekend but stupidly I was thinking oh no I don't need one cause I have one at home.. ya ok my bread machine died on me last nite.. I was devastated my first loaf was tiny but edible so I thought ok maybe I messed the temp of the water up I will try again, the second loaf oh my gosh I have never seen such a disastrous loaf of bread in all my years .. haha the bottom was all the flour it never mixed but it baked it solid lol then the top half was gooey in the middle but cooked on the top.. the poor little thing was a mess.. So it's official the bread maker is going in the trash can today!! However not too worry I have already ordered me a replacement and should arrive in 5-7 days lol.. panic over!! Bread making will resume!!

I have placed canning on hold, as I have decided I want my dishwasher working before I can, so the hubby has too replace it hopefully within the week..My mom has a brand new dishwasher she has been waiting too have fitted well if we fit it we can have her older one so it's a deal..I have a new dishwasher in my shed but I am not plumbing it in until I get my BRAND NEW SHINY IKEA KITCHEN!!! So I will take my mom's old one and possibly use it too it's death as well with the amount of jars I will be sterilizing in the poor thing.. so blackberry jam will be made shortly..along with pickles, salsa and thanks too Misty I must make peach jam as well.. Im also thinking of making blackberry apple as the apple tree is producing some very tasty looking apples..  OH and too my surprise my raspberry plant that I just planted this summer has begin too bloom and produce raspberries so I will be doing something with those as well !! YUM YUM YUM !!! I cant wait !!

Today is my daughters second day at school.. it's so quiet around here without her.. she is just loving school thou, she is in the fourth grade this year and as happy as can be about school.. she most certainly did not get that from me, her and her dad are the school loving nutballs..I don't remember a time where I was ever pleased about going too school.. haha she is due home soon so I had better get off here and get my few chores finished up so I can give her my full attention too hear all about her day !!
